The main Holiday's are over now and all that is left is scraps of wrapping paper, an extra 5 lbs, and resolutions to break in the near future. But don't get too depressed yet, we still have New Year's Eve!

For the ladies it means, it's time to get over-dressed for your friend's New Year's Eve party. LOL! Seriously, If Halloween is when girls dress up in lingerie and slutty outfits pretending to be some "animal" then, New Year's Eve is when, ladies dress up in fabulous cocktail dresses, baubles and sparkles regardless if the affair is casual, cocktail or black-tie. We dress up for this celebration as if we are heading to one of Gatsby's epic parties. So why not this year use the upcoming Gatsby film to inspire your New Year's Eve Outfit.

East Coast for Labor Day

This Labor Day I am headed up to Nantucket for a family trip. I am super excited for some East Coast cuisine, fresh air and look forward to spending time with my extended family.

When packing for a trip I always like to create outfits first and then imagine myself as a magazine editor or think of how I would style a photo shoot. Start of with everything you would want for your outfits and then slowly edit out the repeats or non essentials. Here is what I am wanting to wear and where I am starting with my packing. Keep in mind I am not really a Preppy East Coast dresser so I have added my flair to traditional Americano attire.
