Velvet, Bows, and Deep-V plunging necklines, sparkles, metallic, tulle and ruffles was the message that I got from the 2019 Golden Globes Red Carpet last night. The ones that stood out the most to me were the amount of velvet jackets the men were wearing, dresses with velvet, velvet bows, bows in general, like big dramatic bows on dresses or small ones in hair. And lastly deep, deep plunging v-necklines. Must have been lots and lots of fashion tape and duct tape last night is all I am saying!

GAGA GORGEOUSNESS
My ultimate favorite look on the carpet last night was Lady Gaga. She just was glowing and her best accessory was her humble graciousness and love she carried with her. I am pretty sure she is still madly in love with Bradley Cooper since making the film but who cares it looks great on her and so did this gorgeous Valentino Haute Couture dress she wore.
The red carpet last night had some very obvious color trends of red, white & blue.
The Reds
Valentino Red to be specific. Both Jennifer Aniston and Sally Field wore Spring 2013 Haute Couture Valentino red gowns on the red carpet last night.
I do like how they both styled the dresses very simple as they wore on the runway, but thought Jennifer Aniston could have done something different with her hair.

Maybe it is because I am just obsessed with the tv show Scandal and her character Olivia Pope but Kerry Washington always is pulling off High-Fashion fabulousness Miu Miu gowns with such an effortless look.

The White
Amanda Siegfried in Alexander McQueen.
Her body is clearly amazing and she looked lovely but a little too under the radar for me.
Charlize Theron in Spring 2013 Haute Couture Christian Dior.
To DIE FOR! SO HOT and FIERCE in that Pixie Cute! I think she is giving the young Sharon Stone a serious run for her money!
MY SECOND PLACE BEST DRESSED!!!
And she was so adorable in the opening act dancing very Ginger Rogers like!
The Blue
Helen Hunt in H&M.
I think this was a very cool collaboration and fabulous marketing plan on H&M's part but it looks soooo wrinkled!!! Sometimes material is supposed to look like that but with this material I can't really tell if it is supposed to be wrinkled or not and that bothers me. Regardless Helen Hunt's body is amazeballs!!
Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta.
Looking like a fairy princess in this grey/blueish gown. Gorgeous gown, don't get me wrong but we always see her like this and I would love to see her in something sexy and strong for a change.
Reese Witherspoon in head to toe Louis Vuitton.
The hair, makeup, and gorgeous bodice cut gown just shows off the perfect amount of curves. I love this dress and love the fact that she picked it with the help of her daughter.
It seems people had mixed reviews on Anne Hathaway and Zoe Saldana's choices for their Oscar gowns. But I think the both did something daring for the average fashion onlooker but stayed true to their high-fashion senses and Killed it!
Anne Hathaway in Prada
Pretty and Pink from the front ....
and from the back it was sexy as hell but still very classy...
Those are darts not nipples and stop being so immature people! I do agree though that her hair could use some product.
Zoe Saldana in Alexis Mabille
She looked gorgeous in this gown, its so very unique and not like any other Oscar gown that was out on the red carpet last night. I actually choose this dress for what I thought Jennifer Lawrence should wear but she looks great in it.
Not trying to be mean in spirit but seriously what happened with these ladies hair-do's for the Oscar's last night?
Someone please be a good friend to them and let them know this not good!
Oh Maria Menounos, the dress by Romona Keveza is fab BUT your hair belongs in the past! This is not a beauty pageant this is the Oscars.

Nora Jones in Tadashi Shoji, this updo looks like it came from one of the books at Supercuts from 1992. WHY and WHO did this to you?

Kristen Stewart, I am so over you not caring what you look like. Deal with it, your famous and your acting isn't fabulous so try and make an effort before your time is over. Your a beautiful girl so stop acting like a teenage brat! Do something with your hair and for once complete a look.
A big trend on the Spring 2013 RTW runway and again at the Golden Globes last night was this very ocean/sea inspired shades of blue....
Lucy Liu in Carolina Herrera I love this dress, but not sure if I like the way she styled it. Something seems missing or not right.
MY BEST DRESSED Jessica Chastain in Calvin Klein Collection- I wanted her to wear a blue Ellie Saab dress but she looks sooo elegant! Styled to perfection & so was her acceptance speech!
Nicole Richie in Naeem Khan Color was beautiful on her and the silhouette really elongated her petite figure.
MY BEST DRESSED Julianna Marguiles in lacy Emilio Pucci - This dress was AMAZEBALLS from the front and even more fabulous from the back!
Olivia Munn in Giorgio Armani I think this is a beautiful dress, and the jewelry is fabulous but it's keeping Olivia under the radar. So if she wanted to be under the radar than she nailed it
Rosario Dawson in Antonio Berardi
This dress was pretty but the neck line looks like it is choking her a bit and in turn making her look very wide in the shoulders and counter acts what the peplum part of her dress is trying to accomplish (trying to give her a waist line).
At the Golden Globes last night a big color trend was Corals, Bright Reds and Oranges. The women looked fabulous in this bright color trend, especially Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Alba.
MY BEST DRESSED Jennifer Lawrence in Chanel Haute Couture - even with the flu she killed it on the red carpet!
Claire Daines in Versace looking effortlessly beautiful and just one month from giving birth!
MY BEST DRESSED Jessica Alba in Oscar de la Renta Pre-fall 2013
Marion Cotilliard in Christian Dior Love the simple hair and no jewelry with this dress, that was made especially for her
Zooey Deschanel Oscar de la Renta The dress is gorgeous, but still not my favorite.
